People's fears aren't always rational but... I hope as snakes become more popular as pets and get more popular press, people won't be taught to be afraid (and they ARE ideal pets - quiet and low maintenance, but colorful and interesting!)

My female is normal, the guy... we have no idea what he is. He supposedly produced a lot of strange offspring over the years, but the previous owner gave up on proving him out. This shows the difference between them: http://i51.tinypic.com/290ualj.png He's just so odd looking.
