Going to have to work a lot on this until I'm happy with it, but this was the first completed drawing done on the cintiq.
I think I'll always prefer pencil and paper over digital simply because pencil and paper is tangible and having an original picture drawn on paper by hand just feels different to me than having a hi-res file of an image. Saying that though, I'm not going to snub digital art either. Some of the most beautiful pictures I've seen have been digital and it's an expanding medium with numerous tools and tricks.
Anywho, here's Three.

I would say you are off to a very good start here. Just keep playing around with the brushes and colors.
Yeah I like traditional over digital as well, but digital has Ctr+Z XD. Seriously, its a reflex I do when I make a mistake doing traditional work.
Contrats on your new Cintiq

"Behold Three, Gen's all-purpose character! Good for eliminating Artist's Block, and testing out new drawing materials and tools!"
Nice pic, but I still prefer your natural-media work -- but I'd love to see what you could do with the Cintiq and a copy of ArtRage or Corel Painter...

I think my skills in real media will always be better and my favorite to work in, but occasionally people have specifically requested digital from me and I want to deliver a quality product. Plus I just generally figure it's good to know as a growing number of artists work strictly in digital.
