While the royal photographer is in town, Breezer is getting his picture taken with every member of his Crew. Leonard's recent surges and a few sessions of deliberately channeling his magic have permanently altered his eyes. They are much more feline now.
The photographer's flash has just gone off and Breezer's senses have detected something magical happening just above and in front of his face. Since he started examining and evaluating his crew members' magical abilities and casting, he has started keeping his magic senses active whenever he's near them. Especially Leonard.
At the same time, Breezer is learning that there are often unpredictable lines dividing magically sensitive, (his staff, Leonard's dual bladed weapon) magically conductive, (his knife, Leonard's spear) and magically inert, (certain base metals, most non-metals, and most organics)
