Fade, for want of a better term, is Wind's mirror twin. She comes from a mirror universe where the events of Wind's life and Fade's life pretty much happen at the same time, with slight differences. Essentially, Fade was captured by a dark beast, and was corrupted. She escaped, and was healed. However, since she felt that she was no longer Wind, that her identity had "faded away" she started calling herself Fade. Her sword, "Spiritblade" is the sister sword of "Soulblade".

I will, eventually, post Wind's story here. However, it's a doozy, and 17 years in the making.
