Welcome back, it's been two years since I last drew this sweet little thing but here she is! Serica like several of my other characters has been updated slightly on her design. I fluffed up her hair a bit, thinned her figure slightly, made her tail thinner at it's base, also made her tail slightly longer, and made the stripe on her tail more pronounced. That's it for the update, time to get down to business.

Appearance

Serica is a fox-orca hybrid with gray fur paired with a super light gray secondary color. She has tall Looney Tune like ears, making them taller than most anthro fox ears. She has an orca tail baring three dorsal fins, each one getting smaller towards the end of her tail. Her tail also sports a jagged, wavy stripe on both sides. She wares a black shirt with blue stripes and a blue orca on the front, a pair of dark blue jeans, and a pair of black and blue shoes. Hidden on her back is a baseball sized, light gray heart shaped fur pattern.

Personality

With out explanation, Serica was born with a seemingly pure heart. She is kinder than any character in my universe. She is kind to everyone she meets and tries to encourage the good in people. She is not above offering a hug to a person who needs one. Her soft friendliness in combination with her pure heart makes it very easy for her to befriend nearly everyone she encounters. All of these things make it nearly impossible for anyone to mistreat or harm her. She also has a fascination with that ocean and the creatures that live in it, specifically orca whales, a creature that she shares a common trait with and considers it to be her favorite animal.

Role in the story

Serica's first appearance in the story is planned for chapter 2 of arc 1. She arrives home after some after school club event and for the first time in her life gets to meet Mildred Abzug, the person her father, Rugia R Nelson, says is his adopted little sister. In true Serica fashion, she is quick to accept Mildred as her aunt without hesitation. Throughout the story Serica will be among the characters with a supportive nature, often being an absolute cuddle monster for characters who need some kind of emotional support and love in general. Her pure belief in the potential good in another person will inspire change in several characters for the better.

Heart Fragment: The Pure Child

This a very special heart fragment only given to a creation of mine that I feel is the closest to purity. Serica was created from my mind's attempt to combat stress and depression when it was over taking me some time ago. It's because of this, she possesses this unique heart fragment. Because of this fragment she gives me the feeling of being wrapped in a warm hug when I look at her, and I hope she produces that feeling in other people as well. She's special like that.
