Comic commission - It's a small(er) world
Oh! it looks like gulping down all of these friends, from Team Breakfast to an hungry Rattata and a certain Armaldo, is starting to have an effect on our dear Torracat. Now everything looks so much smaller than it used to: It's a matter of diet, and Torracat's must be really good to have this rapid of a growth! To accomodate his friends, now he needs a lot more space.

The same thing happened to me. I read in the Sun Pokedex that it's possible for a small child to fit in a pelipper's mouth and thought "For real? I should try that." And it snowballed from there until present day when I've got the combined beak and belly capacity of a Smart Fortwo.
Possibly in theory, assuming Torracat's size wasn't dependent on keeping his prey. But in practice, we'd first need to be able to open our mouths wide enough to swallow something bigger than ourselves before we could even begin to try that, otherwise it would max out once one of us got too big for the other to handle.
I suppose that's where taking turns carefully would be a good idea to try! I imagine with how big a Pelipper's beak is, you'd have a pretty good chance at getting something in that's bigger than you. Getting out might be harder!
As for the Torracat... he has no idea if it's based on keeping them inside or not. Probably would be good to find out! ^^
