Something that I've found fascinating is the amount of cosplayers out there dressing up in this outfit. Over the course of three movies Leia wears numerous outfits and the danish-pastry hairstyle + white robe is by far the most famous image of her in the public mind but hands down the metal bikini is the favorite costume for the cosplayer folks. It was so common that I actually did a double take at Comic Con years ago when I came across someone dressed up as Leia but in the forest outfit used for the infiltration of the Imperial shield base on Endor.

That is pretty fascinating! Ever notice how most lady cosplayers tend to also dress up as Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and/or Harley Quinn, regardless of how many other female characters that exist in the DC Universe? I'd like to see a Black Canary or even a Zatanna some day at Heroes Con. Last year, I saw all three- but also a Batgirl (that was a surprise) XD
