Last year I bought Scotty Arsenault's Wacom Cintiq tablet and he offered a suggestion for something I could draw with it; his two characters Opal and Nin-Wah. Nin-Wah is a character he's established pretty well in his Commander Kitty webcomics, but Opal is a new personality he's been building out as a parallel story within the CK universe, and I had a lot of fun coming up with an idea that would work for these two adventure seekers.

This is quite a bit more ambitious than my usual fare and there's a lot of things I'd like to do to improve on this but I'm going to have to practice a lot before I can get to that level.
