It feel like the charcter have seen something not from our realm or our realit, or maybe he recived a kind of "gift" ?
Whatever he have seen or or get, his "gift" seem that the charcter see the world in a "true" manner.
But seeing the "truth" or the real side of things and being aware how things really goes can be a curse.
Sometimes ignorence is bliss.
