I played a bit of that game. owo was fun....

Scaler was definitely quite the fun game at times. ^^ And such a neat character. Nicely done!

The only problems with Scaler were the voice acting and the plot. it actually had surprisingly good game play for a platformer, and the tongue lash ability was pin-point accurate. a little more development, and it could have rivaled Spyro. (old Spyro, not new Spyro *shudders*)

Very true, I could happily mute it and skip the cutscenes and still enjoy myself.

I could never finish that game. Eventually got to the point where my meager gaming skills were not good enough. And damn it for getting the Gamecube version -- no cheats for it. :P

Not to mention it got quite aggravating with the semi endless arenas.

Very nice latex effects, especially with the frame of the partly transformed head. Toongue.

I think the best part was I picked it up brand new for 30 NZD when most games were around 80. Damn good for the price.

I got it on amazon for 4 euro when new it was 30 so I think i made a good deal too ^..^

Never heard of Scaler I'm afraid. Gex was my scalie game of choice back in the day :)

I played Gex too, 3D and 3 onwards.
I just picked up the original a while back but I remember seeing advertising shots of it and that always stuck in my memory.

i played this game once, it was fun and challenging. it did have its bad parts, coulda been done better really, but all in all i did enjoy the game still, never thought i'd see any art on it


no i didnt buy the game to play as an antropomorphic creature....................... ok, maybe it had something to do with it.................................alittle......ok i admit it was really the only reason i bought it

I finished Scaler. The game is good if you like platformers, but it really could have been done better.
The last boss was a pain to beat! >_<

While the game was honestly sort of mediocre and unoriginal, I still rather enjoyed it, especially because I loved Scaler a ton. x3

Tounge about 4 times as long as his body, super sharp claws, climb on slightly rough walls, shoot lightning after grinding on rails a little and turn invisible... not a bad deal I'd say ^..^

Hmm it's interesting, not fully my thing but yea.

I somehow had thoughts on a "sequel" to scaler myself at times, it'd be awesome if they made one ^..^

Of course, I will feature the way that I see Scaler with all the changes that you may have noticed while reading. As for a sequel, we can't really count on that because people still prefers mario and sonic over anything else. Tbh, I just don't like them.

*Nods* yea sadly, scaler did OK in sales but was too obscure for any big fame... I'm just glad i saw it years ago just randomly in a shelve so I remembered it when I searched for it some time later

How I wish I could play this game again, I still have the disk but my good old xbox has died recently.. Why was it never released for PC?
