The world of Osala Ascendus is endlessly dotted with inland seas amongst vast jungles and tropics. Additionally, with the world so sparsely populated and re-emerging following the apocalypse, ships have taken an unorthodox design. The Balmer-Class Inland Cruiser is a support ship with lowered decks equipped with VLS cells and a VTOL UAV takeoff and landing pad. Its primary purpose is to provide fire support for land forces but is also equipped with long-range SAM and heavy ASM/ASWs

As a fan of historical battships and cruisers, I personally love the way this ship combines design features of both new and old warships. From the dreadnought style of the prow, stern, and natural swooping hull curves, to the superstructure of modern warships. The foremast and armamemt personally reminds me of cold war era American warships. I all around love this design and would love to see more warship and military designs from you.
