Another one of these canon vs fanon art memes. Trust me there’s a LOT of Ginga characters I could also do with this lol but I just wanted to stick with Weed

Canon design I just directly used his GDW anime colors. I know there isn’t really one particular “fanon” design for Weed so I just did an amalgamation of common themes I see in Weed redesigns (the Monsoon scars, the grey color, the stripes, etc...). As for my version I just gave him his popular fanon neck scars he got from Hougen and his tora-ge/brindle stripes, as well as a slightly modified version of his GDW anime colors (no Monsoon scars for me because I still refuse to acknowledge The Last Wars as canon)
