Hong Kong Phooey is an old cartoon that came on to the TV in the mid to late 1960s. He has a faithful striped cat companion named Spot. and if you can find some old episodes of HKP, and watch closely, Spot is the one that actually saves the day but Hong Kong Phooey gets the credit. And poor Spot is mute.
