I saw it. It was by Sarafina on the Lion King Fanarchive. There was also a fan fiction with Simba and a snow leopard on Fanfiction.net, The Lion King: The Snow Lands, but that was another separate work. Funny how LionGuard did go to the snow lands but met a villainous snow leopard. Lol.
