Technically, the Burned hellscape Spyro and Cynder went through to reach Malefor would have been the swamp and surrounding area where Spyro and Sparx grew up. I know technically it isn't due to a retcon by the devs, but it makes a lot more sense. I wonder then if they would even have any parents to visit then after?
