Another old piece of art I thought might be worth uploading (2009-07-09).

This one is a bit of a concept sketch I saw trying to think up for a comic thing that didn't get far (yet, I suppose). It was for a race of gypsy-like fish/shark people. They cover their bodies in tattoos and sell stuff like medicinal supplies or arts and craft, things made almost entirely out of oceanic materials. There's a long tradition of seaside beach markets because of them. They're hardly ever seen anywhere that isn't within walking distance from a body of water.

I never really got around to trying out any other designs for the species, I got distracted by trying to think up semi-authentic-looking tattoos :V
