Original description: I'm very excited today to be able to share with you something that has been gathering dust for sooooo much time! Ever since 2021, in fact! Here are Ziyo's amazing and favourite Robot Masters from each Megaman game! Aren't they amazing?! Ziyo himself will come right up onto the stage to say a little bit more about his favourite choices!
Megaman 1: Ice Man: What can I say? Ice Man looks like Kenny. He's definitely got the most unique design in the first Megaman game for sure!
Megaman 2: Heat Man: He's got a box. He stood out to me the most for sure!
Megaman 3: Hard Man: Oh this guy is really big and cool! I love his big punchy attitude too! He's super HARD as well. Reminds me of a song that Gunther wrote, actually.
Megaman 4: Dust Man: A recent favourite of mine compared to the rest, Dust Man's got quite an edgy stage theme if you think about it. That's ESPECIALLY the case in Ordna Awakens, but that's a story
for another day.
Megaman 5: Napalm Man: Yeah he kinda looks weird, but all those weapons and stuff and his theme song just work together to make him cooler! He's clearly a Jet Set Radio fan since he has skates just
like mine! And let's not forget his appearance in Rockman Rumble too!
Megaman 6: Flame Man: Picking a favourite for Megaman 6 was a hard one. I'm not too keen on the buddies of that game, so I selected Flame Man since he looks the coolest.
Megaman 7: Turbo Man: This was a REALLY close one, tied with Junk Man, but Turbo Man won out! He's a fire-breathing Transformer and has cool music, what else can I say?
Megaman 8: Tengu Man: Astro and Search Man were very close! A LOT of the designs in Megaman 8 are just so unique and fun. But I decided to choose my old favourite Tengu Man. I loved beaky bird characters
as a kid, and Tengu Man is just so cool! Definitely the coolest Megaman character!
Megaman And Bass: Burner Man: I decided to choose this guy just because of how funny he was in The Dr Wily Show animated shorts on YouTube (and Newgrounds, for that matter!). He's got some coolness to
him as well.
Megaman 9: Galaxy Man: Love his theme tune, love his design, love how fun he is! And I love his black hole powers!
Megaman 10: Commando Man: Similar reason as to why I love Napalm Man. Commando Man is just pure firepower! Really awesome!
Megaman 11: Bounce Man: Big punchy guy with big fists. That's all I got to say here.
And that's a wrap everyone! Hope you enjoyed finally seeing this piece of art that was forgotten for almost 3 whole years get to see the light of day! I sure had fun making it, that's for sure!
Retrospective: All the stuff I've said about these amazing guys still stands today. It's not really been that long ago since I uploaded this to DeviantArt anyway. Like with some of my other art such as the one with Zill in Forsaken 64 and that Hecate inflation I dug up earlier in 2024, this was something from yesteryear that I decided to dust off and finish. And oh boy was I glad I did!
I still got a Rotteen inflation image from early 2021 that I never finished that I've been looking at recently, so that'll be swell to see one day!
