I can't say that I have ever come across something like this before, these are actually thousands upon thousands of snail shells that made up a corner of the river floor, these actually went down about a foot before you hit solid bottom. Just an interesting concept of filtering certain objects through a current, these were just the right weight to gather in one spot under a small dam, and that clam is just there for effect I guess.
