A friend and co-worker was able to adopt a dog recently after her own beloved pooch had to be put down just last year. I was so elated that she'd found another dog to fill that hole in her heart, I felt that the least I could do was whip up a quick dog pillow since the golden retriever and lab mix wasn't allowed on bed and furniture (not that I blame them! That's a lot of dog!) So that being said, I made her a little dog bed...just enough to get her up off the floor while she slept.

My chihuahua, Prissy Sue...didn't want to give it up. She was dead serious in thinking that I'd made the huge lavish bed for little ol' 9 lb her. She wasn't too happy to come into the room later today to find that "HER" bed was gone! XD

This pillow even has a concealed zipper on the side corner so that stuffing can be removed or added to, and for easier washing and drying!
