That [C64 game I've been working on for a while] now has a proper title screen! Isn't it lovely?
Complete with scrolling background (even under that shadow effect). And there are fade-in and fade-out effects too. And whewwwww it wasn't easy to get this part working. Had to pull off a few crazy programming stunts that I wasn't even sure a month ago were possible!
But that's another hard part done. The rest should be a breeze.
If you know about C64 graphics modes, you might be tempted to look at this very closely and try to figure out what I may have used here. A few too many colors for a hi-res bitmap, isn't it? A little too much resolution for a multi-color mode? Do you know about FLI? I did not use FLI!
Oh, by the way... It's [this] rabbit, the very same.
I'm not very happy with this first attempt at the character design, actually. I plan to tweak a few things, modify some proportions. Not completely decided about the star marking around the eye, either, whether it's too cliché or exactly the right amount of cliché.
