Once Athos was free from his duty of service to the Tree of Magic, his need of his clones to be his personal stand in were no longer required. So he set them all to be of their own beings. Many of them choosing to stay in the universes they were sent too, some decided to keep on exploring, some even decided to live among the world of Ter'derlor, while the remaining stay faithful to aid with Rinna with her celestial duties.
