There, drew an otter for today's sketch of the day. Three days in a row, wow! But anyway, me trying to draw 'action' again. I guess this didn't come out too bad though has its share of issues.

Ears look a little too rounded, and the muzzle too broad for a roo. Guess it could be some sort of roo/otter hybrid, like a rootter or something.

Oh no Joey is the name of a friend of mine. :) Roo's have long ears too this guys are short and round. Hehe.

looking good...though..the body..maybe a bit to straight for what he is doing..the rest is great! Have you looked at photos of poses? See if you can get a little bit of a feel for the body position from them.

I had some reference but it was still a tough pose. Body seems kinda 'short' now too as I'm looking again.

Well that is the whole idea of doing all the sketches. It lets you spend as little time on each on getting this type of stuff right. So when you do work on the full pieces you have all the niddly bits down right!
