Oh, it is beautifull. Despite the drawing being luminous and bathed in a heavenly light, the art have something melancolic.

It feel like the charcter wanted or needed to go outside for a walk to change his mind. I see the scene taking place in summer, with these warm rains making feel the atmosphere even more heavy.
The charcter needed a walk to change his mind or escape his thoughts but like the rain and the air of the summer, his sadness and thoughts are too heavy to be left alone like this.

It is a beautifull drawing which make pass lot of emotions and feelings.

well you hit the nail on the head! this was a piece of vent art i made to deal with some overwhelming feelings of sadness, even though everything should technically be okay. hence the rain only appearing under the umbrella
