After the lecture Miss Ruby orders Bruno to get Doug a robe and something hot to drink and sits him by the fireplace.
Once Miss Ruby and Bruno leave Doug was greeted by Reynard and the fox was not happy with them. he told Doug earlier not to Gamble with the weasels and now because of all this trouble duck got into Renard is most likely going to get blamed for it given his reputation before Doug could explain any further Reynard just shook his head and walked out of the room not saying a word.
Doug slinked back into the chair he knew he screwed up but now it's on friend was disappointed in him and he can't blame him.
