Powers/Skills:  Light and Darkness magic, able to use teleportation magic and minor sound manipulation. Highly skilled with shields, spears, and a bow. Has a mastery for tracking. Ashborn Shield gives him the power to create barriers, absorb magic attacks to an extent, and channel powerful beams when full with magic energy.
Job:  Adventurer/Protector, previously a hunter for his tribe. Wielder of Ashborn Shield.

Personality: Loud, overconfident, humorous, surprisingly tactical, loving, playful, honest, and loyal. 
Friends: Kaz, Vic, Casten, Magnus, Cooper, Brutus, Rangar, Ziggy, Yoseph, Mac, Kaden, RedFang, Eric, Johnny, Dustin, and many more. 
Hobbies/Interests: Eating anything, teasing Kaz, spending time with people, teasing Vic, eating people when given a chance, doing competitions, hunting, adventuring, and fishing. 

A bit of backstory: Vash is a gnoll from the tribe of Pitale, a tribe living in the Monster Plains. He is an experienced hunter with a history of showing off to the tribe, his skills in the tribe are second to none. He is close friends with Kaz a fellow gnoll in the tribe who he treats as a younger brother, sometimes teasing him about his height and saying how they are the perfect siblings. His experience in hunting is only matched by his love for food, he enjoys eating everything and anything, trying out all types of food no matter where they are from. He loves exploring and seeing new places and experiencing new cultures and foods. A dream of his is to venture out of the village and see what Lumia and other places beyond have to offer, and also to challenge himself against stronger opponents to show how strong he is. If he loses then if only serves to help him figure out how to get stronger and overcome the challenge. 

Vash spends most of his life in the village, at a young age he practiced to be a hunter so he could go outside the village. Early on, Vash always had an interest for going beyond the village to see what was out there. To make that idea possible, he needs to be able to take care of and defend himself. He becomes a young hunter by the age of 13, following along with his fellow hunters to catch food. He proves he is a skilled tracker, able to do better than most hunters in his tribe. Some say he has a sixth sense for it, able to pick up the faintest scent and sound. He demonstrates great skill with a bow and is able to handle a spear like a pro. He regularly gets training from other hunters to master his spear and bow skills, practicing daily to improve. 

By the time he is 18, he has grown to be a valuable member of the tribe for his hunting skills. Of course, many people still see him as someone who doesn't take things seriously unless it's hunting. He still is overconfident and jokes around a lot. When it comes to hunting he is tactical and highly skilled. By this time, he is teaching  younger hunters to hunt and training them. This is how he comes across Kaz, a fellow gnoll with an unusual gift. He starts helping Kaz to be a hunter and soon enough the two start hanging out with one another. When Vash isn't helping out training, he is practicing his own abilities. He has the power over light and darkness, is able to control it with ease. He is also able to teleport and manipulate sound around him, sometimes using these tricks in his hunts to silence himself or appear in front of his target when they run away. He sometimes tries to help Kaz, the gnoll's abilities are to gain the powers and physical traits of other monsters. Vash would go with Kaz to fight a monster so Kaz could learn new abilities and traits. 

A couple of years come to pass, by this point, Vash has come to be a trustworthy and strong hunter of his tribe. People see him as among the strongest in the tribe, even though they try not to encourage him too much given his ego. Vash has become close friends with Kaz, even treating him like his little brother and being protective of him. Vash and Kaz talk about leaving the village and setting out on an adventure. For Kaz, he wants to learn more about his abilities and about his family's origins as he was adopted into the tribe and doesn't know much about his real family. For Vash, he wants to help Kaz out and to discover his own place in the world. Find something bigger than just being a hunter in the tribe.  

 One day, their village is visited by a black wolf named Vic, a hero who fought alongside Tigz and his friends a few years ago. When coming to the village, Vic was interested in finding out details about the tribe. He heard of a shield which was forged by the person who made his great sword Devourer. Vash and Kaz run into and begin talking with Vic, at first they found him to be rude and uncaring, but Kaz figured out that Vic doesn't know how to respond to people well. Thanks to Vash, they discover the shield is below the village as there is a hidden passage outside the village. The elder of the village wasn't aware of this and gives Vash permission to check it out and possibly take the shield if he wishes. Vash and Kaz force Vic to allow them to come with and together they explore the underground passage where the shield lies. They come across a monster protecting the shield and work together to defeat it. To the surprise of Vic, he actually finds Kaz and Vash to be good fighters. Though the idea of that troubles Vic. 

After the fight, they tried to get the shield, however both Vic and Kaz couldn't touch it without being shocked by its energy. Vash on the other hand is able to take the shield without a problem, showing that the shield has chosen Vash. Once they leave the passage and get back to the village, Kaz asks Vic where he will go next. Vic explains he will keep traveling around Lumia and other worlds where he can, searching for information about various relics and historical information about heroes. Kaz is quick to ask Vic about him coming along as this could help Kaz find out more about his family and see what's out there. Vash immediately brings up he wants to go too and the fact that given he has the shield and the two proved to be very skilled in a fight should be enough reason to let them come along. It takes some convincing, but Vic eventually relents and allows them to come with him. Vic figures that the two could be useful and he is at least helping Kaz discover more about his family, something Vic can relate to. 

Before long, Vash and Kaz begin their journey with Vic. They get to experience what's out there in Lumia and the worlds beyond. They would eventually meet Brutus, a Tigrex who is a ex-knight who joins their group. They would travel between Lumia, Earth, and Delcyber, learning the various history of heroes and helping Kaz find out his lineage.
