The long awaited day had finally arrived. The sky was a bright blue, almost cloudless, with a lightness in the air announcing an ideal day for a challenge like the one Dani was about to face. At 1 p.m., the time would come. The weather was perfect : almost windless, a clear sky offering impeccable visibility for the jump.
In the barracks, the excitement was palpable. The Autobots Heatwave, Chase and Boulder, in vehicle mode, were watching Dani with particular attention, aware of the magnitude of the challenge she was about to take on. If her training in the altitude simulator had prepared her well, they knew that her physical and mental resistance would be put to the test. In particular Blades, her faithful partner, who was used to accompanying her on her extreme adventures.
Dani was getting dressed in the preparation room, putting on a metallic cobalt blue thermal suit, perfectly matching her harness bag. She checked her equipment : goggles, gloves, and especially her helmet, designed for remote communication with Blades during the skydiving activity. One last check, and she was ready. It was cold at 20,000 feet, and the brunette was well aware of the need to be perfectly equipped.
Before putting on her suit, she made sure to wear warm layers to avoid the effects of hypothermia at this altitude.
The Autobots greeted her with a flash of their vehicle mode lights, ready to provide her with moral support from a distance.
- We're following you, Dani. Don't forget to stay calm and breathe deeply. Heatwave reminded, his voice echoing in the barracks.
- Be careful, Dani. We know you can do it. Chase added encouragingly.
- Don't forget your preparation, you're more than ready. Boulder said, wise and calm as always.
Dani smiled at her friends' words. She felt ready to take on anything, and she knew that with Blades by her side, nothing could stop her.
Exiting the room, she made her way to the platform where Blades was waiting for her. The Autobot was already in helicopter mode, the rotors turning slowly to make sure everything was ready for flight.
- Ready for the big jump ? Blades asked as she approached, his voice full of confidence.
- Ready, Blades. We're going to do it. Dani replied with a smile.
She boarded the helicopter, and Blades took the controls. He was far more experienced than any human pilot for this kind of flight, and Dani knew she could focus entirely on her preparation. The cabin was silent, except for the faint sounds of the wind.
As they climbed, the temperature began to drop and the air grew thin. At 13,125 feet, Dani felt the first signs of the oxygen depletion. She immediately activated the oxygen system and some heating in the cabin to counteract the cold. The warm air and extra oxygen brought her immediate comfort, helping her to concentrate.
- Oxygen and heating are working. You're fine, Blades. she said after a few deep breaths.
- Good. We're approaching 18,045 feet. How are you feeling ? Blades replied, monitoring the instruments and observing Dani through her cockpit.
- I'm starting to feel the effects. But I feel good. That simulator yesterday prepared me well. She replied in a serene tone, making sure she kept control of her breathing.
At 20,000 feet, they finally reached the ideal height. The sky was becoming clearer and wider, and Dani could see the mountains below her like a peaceful carpet. The wind was calm, but the air was becoming thinner and thinner. The cabin had been stabilized and the temperature was under control. All that was left was to prepare for the final step: the jump.
Blades looked at Dani one last time through the command interface, making sure she was ready.
- Dani, you know what to do. Breathe calmly and focus. I'm here to guide you.
- Thank you, Blades. It's now or never. She replied with determination, ready to take the final step.
Through the window, she saw the world stretching out below her. It was time to jump.
The sound of Blades' rotors slowly faded as the helicopter continued to rise. The air was becoming thinner and thinner, the icy cold seeping in through the windows. The cabin was stabilized, but the cold at this high altitude was unavoidable. Blades, still in command, turned slightly to Dani.
- I'm going to open the dome slowly so you can get used to the cold and lack of oxygen. Blades announced, his voice slightly resonant because of the radio communication.
Dani nodded and took a deep breath. She knew this was a crucial moment : she had to stay focused to complete this jump in the best possible conditions. She adjusted her goggles and made sure her equipment was in place.
Blades activated the dome, which opened smoothly. The fresh, rare air instantly rushed into the cabin, invading the space like an icy wave. Dani felt the immediate effect of the altitude.
The air was becoming increasingly difficult to breathe, but she knew it was only temporary. For five seconds, she let her body adapt to the scarcity of oxygen and the intense cold. The feeling of shortness of breath passed through her for a moment, but quickly, she focused, remembering the preparation she had followed in the altitude simulator.
In five seconds, her body adapted to this new environment, and she felt the oxygen slowly return to her lungs. Her heart was beating fast, but she managed to calm down. Her mind was clear.
Blades, still motionless in his role as pilot, waited for the dome to be fully open before finalizing the last details.
- Dome fully open. Ready to jump ? Blades asked, the tension in his voice, though calm and reassuring.
Dani needed only a moment to adjust her position. She stood and headed for the exit, her heart beating with excitement, but also with complete concentration. She stood near the edge, looking down at the ground below her, an ocean of serene landscapes stretching out in the distance. The cold breeze of altitude blew against her face, and each second that passed brought her closer to the fateful moment.
- Blades, I’m ready. She said, her voice steady, though a spark of excitement mixed in.
Blades replied with a small, invisible smile, but he knew she was ready for this moment.
- I’ll be there. I’ll be waiting for you on the barracks platform. Five seconds after you jump. He replied, the confidence in his words giving Dani one last burst of motivation.
With one last look at Blades, Dani took a deep breath, her hands steady on the edge of the helicopter. The moment she had been waiting for was here. Her mind was calm, focused. She knew she was well prepared and that none of the difficulties she had overcome so far could make her hesitate.
She leaned forward, ready to jump. The moment had arrived.
Dani closed her eyes for a moment as she launched herself into the void. Her body tensed, her arms spread wide to steady herself, her heart pounding wildly. She was in freefall, but not in a panic. The feeling of the icy wind around her, the adrenaline pumping through her veins, it was all terribly exciting. She knew exactly what she was doing.
She immediately dove into a dive, hurtling towards the earth with startling speed. Her body arched as the air grew rougher and rougher against her suit. She reached 250 km/h in a matter of seconds, hurtling towards the 13,125 feet altitude she was aiming for. Staring at the horizon, she felt the cold air sting her skin, but she knew that the oxygen supply she had set in Blades’ cabin would allow her to breathe better at this altitude.
After a few seconds, she reached 13,125 feet, and immediately, she began to open her arms and legs, her position becoming more stable. The speed quickly dropped from 155 to 100 mph as she began to slow her descent. The wind, softer at this altitude, enveloped her and helped her find her rhythm.
The air was more breathable now, and Dani immediately felt more at ease. A feeling of freedom passed through her, and a smile appeared on her face. She felt as if she was in total harmony with the skies around her. With perfect confidence in her abilities, she decided to let herself be carried away by the pleasure of the fall.
She turned slightly to the side, her arms outstretched like wings, and performed an elegant rotation. She suddenly felt light, as if she were dancing in the air, chaining aerial figures with perfect mastery. Quick twists, aerial pirouettes, and even a small loop, each movement was fluid and graceful.
While indulging in these acrobatics, she looked up to contemplate the landscape passing below her. The world seemed both vast and intimate, every detail of the ground, the mountains and oceans below, was unreal in its beauty. The air grew less and less cold as she fell, and she felt even more connected to this incredible feeling of pure freedom.
All around her was the vastness of the sky, the smell of fresh air, and the roar of the wind that accompanied her dance in the void. She knew she was still miles above the ground, but everything seemed suspended in time, as if she were the only person living this moment. Her body, increasingly adept in its movements, chained acrobatics with an ease that would have been possible only to an experienced parachutist like her.
Freefall was anything but a simple descent. It was a moment of pure pleasure, a constant challenge to push the limits and taste the ecstasy of emptiness.
Dani laughed inwardly, fully enjoying every second. The world around her was nothing more than a blur, a moving canvas in which she drew her figures, her mind free of all constraints. It was all fun, and she knew that this moment would remain etched in her memory forever.
After several aerial acrobatics, Dani felt the urge to prolong this exhilarating experience a little longer. She had already had a lot of fun with the tricks, spins and loops, but a more subtle challenge presented itself to her : how to make this descent even more memorable and smoother.
She quickly checked her altitude. 6,560 feet. Perfect. She was only a few moments away from the moment when she had to deploy her parachute to end this adventure. Dani decided to pull on the hand-deploy, this mechanism she knew well, to deploy the main canopy and thus slow her fall.
The seconds stretched as she pulled on the handle, and a slight resistance was felt before she heard the soft sound of the parachute deploying with a characteristic - whoosh- .
The air around her immediately calmed down, and the descent that had previously been fast and frantic turned into a smooth and controlled fall.
She smiled as she felt the stability and smoothness of the descent. The parachute was slowly carrying her towards the earth, and she could now take her time, enjoying every second of the spectacular view that was unfolding beneath her feet. The wind was blowing more calmly, and her body, which had been shaken by the intense speed of the free fall, now felt perfectly in harmony with the movement of the parachute.
However, at this precise moment, Blades, who remained on the platform of the barracks in Autobot mode, watched attentively. His super-powerful zoom optics allowed him to follow Dani's every movement in the air. When he saw the sail deploy at 6,560 feet, he widened his optics slightly and immediately asked Dani, via radio communication.
- Dani, why did you deploy at 6,560 feet ? Blades said, a note of surprise in his voice. It’s a little earlier than expected, right ?
Dani, floating quietly in the air, took a few seconds before answering. An amused smile played on her face as she looked out at the sea in the distance and the mountains that loomed below her.
- Haha, you’re not wrong, Blades. She replied, her voice tinged with lightness. But I just wanted to enjoy the scenery a little more and have more time to descend slowly. I wanted to make the pleasure last a little longer, you know !
Blades, still watching closely, nodded mentally at her answer. He knew that Dani liked to push her limits, but this kind of decision was not without risk. However, he had every confidence in his partner.
- I see that you’re really enjoying this moment. Blades replied, his tone calm but concerned. But you also know that safety remains a priority, especially at these altitudes. However, I see that everything is going well, as usual.
Dani replied with a mischievous tone.
- No worries, Blades. I have everything under control, as always. I just want to enjoy the view a little more, and then... who knows, maybe I'll do a few more tricks before landing.
Blades sketched a slight smile, although he knew that she would never miss an opportunity to have fun, even in the most extreme situations. He watched her descent, impressed by Dani's control.
Dani, for her part, was fully enjoying this moment of tranquility. The world below her seemed immense, and the sensation of letting herself be carried by the wind while floating slowly towards the ground was of an incomparable serenity. But even if her parachute carried her gently, her concentration remained intact, conscious of each movement, of each millimeter of descent. She knew that Blades was waiting for her below, ready to welcome her.
Her connection to her Autobot partner was still strong, even from a distance. She knew he was watching her from afar, attentive and always ready to intervene if necessary. But for now, everything was fine.
She was calmly descending towards the platform, ready to set foot on solid ground after this incredible flight.
As Dani slowly floated towards the ground, the calm of her fall under the parachute gave her the opportunity to fully appreciate the landscape. However, as she had announced to Blades, she was not yet ready to set foot on land. An amused smile crossed her face as she firmly grasped the directional handles of the sail. She had already enjoyed the stable descent, but a little more challenge was never refused.
With a fluid gesture, she pulled lightly on the left handle, and the sail reacted immediately by initiating a slight turn to the left. Dani adjusted accordingly, lowering her body, speeding up her rotation and initiating a pirouette in the air. She spun around, curling in a graceful motion before straightening the sail, bringing it back under control. A smile of excitement spread across her lips; she had mastered this trick with ease.
She straightened up, paused slightly, then, determined to push the performance even further, this time pulled on the right handle. The air charged with tension as the sail reacted instantly and Dani performed a reverse stunt, the sail spinning beneath her like a controlled whirlwind. It was a delicate move that she had mastered well, but one that she also knew was risky at these altitudes. But she had confidence.
Then, almost with disconcerting ease, she began another loop, going back into a perfect spiral by lowering her head and legs while guiding the sail, feeling the push of the wind. Her arms and legs stretched, exploiting the entire surface of the parachute. The fall now seemed to slow down even more, each movement was fluid and calculated, each position was more pleasant than the last.
The landscapes that unfolded below her were even more impressive as she climbed and descended in the sky, chaining each maneuver with disconcerting naturalness. These aerial acrobatics offered her pure and intense pleasure. Each figure seemed to increase the feeling of freedom, control and absolute mastery.
As she performed a last pirouette before beginning her descent, a thought crossed her mind.
- Blades, she said to herself, I have to show him this.
A bright smile appeared on her face as she fully felt the freedom of the air. The sounds of the wind, the feeling of altitude, the adrenaline… it was all a ballet in harmony with herself.
In an inner breath, she almost whispered to herself, a smile on her lips : These figures… it’s like flying in the wind, each movement a dance with the air.
She listened to the sounds of the wind, the sounds of her sail unfurling and tightening under her gestures. The feeling of floating, of soaring, of pure adrenaline. A feeling she wouldn’t trade for anything. At that moment, she felt like she was in perfect harmony with the sky.
Finally, after chaining together a few more figures, Dani felt that the time had come to descend gently towards the platform. She took a moment to stabilize her fall and realigned the parachute, beginning a more linear descent, all the while admiring the last rays of the sun hitting the sea and the land below. The quietness of the end of the descent contrasted beautifully with the intensity of the last figures.
She knew that Blades, there on the platform, was waiting patiently. She was getting closer to landing. One last glance at the blue sky, one last breath of fresh air, and she began the final phase of her landing.
As the cool breeze grew softer and softer on her face, Dani felt the descent become more stable, more peaceful. The platform of the barracks was slowly getting closer.
Blades, through the radio, warned her : Dani, you are five minutes from the platform. Prepare for landing.
At these words, an amused smile spread across Dani's face. The end of the flight was approaching, but the intrepid pilot wasn't yet ready to settle for a simple classic descent. She had another challenge in mind, a challenge that she knew was risky but exciting.
With a determined gesture, Dani adjusted the direction of the canopy and slowed the fall, trying to stabilize herself in an ideal position to land. Her eyes quickly scanned the platform, locating Blades in the middle of it. He was standing in Autobot mode, ready to greet her. A bold idea crossed her mind: why not try to land directly on his shoulder ?
Thinking about this challenge, she said to herself : Come on, it's just another little challenge. If I fail, it'll only be a small boo-boo. But if I succeed, it'll be epic.
She knew it was risky. A classic landing would have been easier, but Dani loved to challenge herself. If she could land on Blades' shoulder without losing her balance or falling awkwardly, it would be a feat worthy of her skills as a skydiver.
She observed Blades' positioning, then adjusted the canopy to slowly get closer to him. The wind was light, the platform didn't seem too agitated. But she was aware that the slightest mistake could tip everything over.
- I have to be precise. A little more to the left, a little less speed, and... She thought, concentrating.
She squeezed the directional handles in her hands confidently and began to descend more slowly, guiding the sail so that it was perfectly positioned above Blades' shoulder. The idea was simple, but putting it into practice required total mastery of the situation.
The wind grew stronger in her ears, and Dani adjusted her body one last time to stabilize herself. She closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating only on the sound of the wind, the swaying of the sail, and the image of Blades in front of her. Then, with perfect precision, she began to head towards him, gently, slowly.
The platform was getting closer. Dani's heart was beating faster. She hadn't yet realized if she would succeed, but her whole body was on alert, ready to face the landing, no matter what.
The moment of truth arrived. Blades watched the scene with his optics. Dani was getting closer with such precision that the landing seemed within reach. She readjusted herself a few inches from the ground. Arms outstretched, she adjusted her position and let herself be guided by the sail.
She was now in position to attempt the challenge. The ground was approaching, but Dani, in a last effort, made a small controlled jump, aiming for Blades' shoulder.
She lightly touched his shoulder, then stabilized herself, before making a last movement to land gently on the ground. She almost succeeded in her perfect landing, but a small imbalance prevented her from achieving it completely.
She burst out laughing while straightening up.
- Well, I wasn't as precise as I wanted to be, but it was almost there, right ? She said, an amused smile on her lips.
Blades turned slowly to her, a slight smile visible on his metallic face. He bowed slightly, as if to congratulate her.
- You almost did it, Dani. It wasn't far.
Dani nodded, proud of her challenge. Even if she hadn't quite succeeded, she knew she had given it her all, and that she had learned a little more about her abilities and the challenges she could set herself.
Dani straightened up slowly after landing, a smile still on her lips, satisfied with her challenge, even if it wasn't quite perfect. She turned to Blades, who was watching her carefully. The platform was quiet, and the wind was blowing gently, bringing a welcome freshness after the climb to 20,000 feet.
The young woman removed her goggles and placed them carefully on her helmet, her gaze meeting Blades'. A silent exchange of complicity took place between them.
She then removed her harness bag with an ease that betrayed her experience. The next step, the most important, awaited her : folding the canopy. Dani knew full well that not every jump ended with a simple landing. Storing the parachute was an essential task to ensure that future jumps would go smoothly. It took patience, method, and rigor.
Dani knelt on the platform, placing the harness bag next to her. Her movements were precise, almost choreographed. The sound of the parachute, which deployed in the air and then landed on the ground, resonated like a familiar melody. Each fold she gave to the canopy was a mark of discipline, each gesture, an act of preparation for the future. She concentrated on the canopy, making sure to make it as smooth as possible before starting to fold it.
Blades, who was watching his partner's every move with his optics, was a silent but respectful witness to Dani's skill. Although he was an Autobot, his gaze was filled with sincere admiration for this young parachutist. He perfectly understood the rigor required to perform a perfect fold.
Dani worked in silence, but a voice gently broke the calm: You are really meticulous, Dani,- Blades said, in an admiring tone, always attentive to his task.
Dani didn't stop in her work. Her hands maneuvered the canvas with studied speed and great precision. She answered with a lightness, but also great conviction : It is essential. If you do not take care to fold the sail well, it can cause problems. Every detail counts. A bad fold and it will be an unpleasant surprise during the next jump.
She continued her work with an almost mechanical efficiency, carefully rolling up the edges of the parachute, placing each section in its place with an almost scientific precision. In ten minutes, the canvas was perfectly folded and stored in its bag. Dani then straightened up, following the slight movement of the wind that blew on the platform, a sigh of satisfaction escaping from her lips.
Blades looked at her, a slight smile forming under his helmet.
- You're used to it, I see. Perfectly folded, as always.
Dani shrugged modestly.
- Nothing is left to chance. If you want to chain jumps, everything has to be ready. Always.
She took a last moment to make sure everything was in order, before getting up. Blades, watching the completed procedure, understood that it was time for Dani to return to the barracks. As she headed towards the passage leading to the ladder, Blades, in Autobot mode, waited calmly, ready to leave again in helicopter mode.
Dani, after giving Blades one last look, turned and headed towards the platform exit. She took the passage leading to the ladder, her footsteps echoing on the metal floor of the barracks. Once on the other side, she only had to climb a few steps to find herself inside the building, ready to rest before a new mission or a future challenge.
For his part, Blades transformed into a helicopter, slowly rising into the air before heading to another point in the city. He was ready to intervene at any moment, his sensors already scanning the surroundings of Griffin Rock, where he knew an intervention might well be necessary.
Dani, after leaving the platform and taking a moment to breathe, headed towards the cabinet where she always stored her parachuting equipment. The metal door opened with a slight creak, and she delicately placed her suit inside. It was a reflex, like a way of closing an adventure that she had mastered well. The suit, altimeter, helmet, and harness bag joined the nine other pieces of equipment neatly stored next to each other.
She closed the cabinet, a feeling of satisfaction flooding her.
She took off her skydiving gloves, shaking her hands a little to warm them up before standing up. Her muscles were slightly sore, but the fatigue was sweet, that of a challenge well met. Once the equipment was put away, she took a quick shower, getting rid of the adrenaline that was still circulating in her veins.
A few minutes later, dressed in her jeans and a comfortable t-shirt, she joined the living room where her father, Charlie, and her three brothers, Kade, Cody, and Graham, were sitting relaxed around the coffee table chatting about everything and nothing. The television was playing an old action movie, but the scene seemed unimportant to them. They were all eager to hear the story of the day.
Dani entered the room and sat down on the couch, her eyes shining with excitement. Charlie, her father, turned his gaze to her, a proud smile lighting up his face. Kade, Cody and Graham, although a little less demonstrative than their father, also seemed eager to have details.
- So, my girl, how did this extreme experience go ? 20,000 feet, that's not nothing ! Charlie asked, his voice filled with kindness and pride.
Dani smiled, a confident, but slightly teasing smile.
- It was something, I can tell you. It's mind-blowing. But I told you, I'm well prepared, and I didn't have any problems. The 20,000 feet jump was... a challenge I wanted to take on, and I'm glad I did it.
Kade, who was sitting in the chair opposite, raised his eyebrows, looking skeptical.
- Do you realize that you jumped from over 20,000 feet high, without an oxygen reserve, except from 13,125 feet ? Honestly, you have the courage of a lioness, Dani, but that seems a little extreme to me, even for you.
Dani gave him an amused look before answering him, her voice still calm, but filled with the same determination that always characterized her.
- Don't worry about it, Kade. I did my tests in the simulator, and I was ready for it. When I reached 13,125 feet, I felt comfortable, that's when I breathed properly and turned on the heater in the chopper. That's why I went for it, I knew I had it under control.
Cody, sitting next to Kade, gave an admiring look.
- You know, Dani, I really admire your ability to stay calm in such extreme situations. You seem like you have no fear, even when you jump from such high altitudes.
Dani burst out laughing, a genuine laugh, before answering in a lighter tone.
- Oh, believe me, I got a few chills jumping from 20,000 feet, but that's what makes it exciting! The adrenaline, the cold air, the altitude... It's all part of the experience. And I love it.
Graham, the eldest of her brothers, looked at his sister in awe.
- You did some freefall tricks, didn’t you ? Blades told me you were having a blast going down.
Dani nodded, her eyes shining with the same excitement she had when she went down.
- Yeah, it was great. I even did a few tricks just for fun. The view down below, the feeling of freedom… I couldn’t help myself. It’s like dancing in the air.
Charlie listened intently, a glint of pride in his eyes.
- You’re really amazing, Dani. I always knew you had a passion for these kinds of challenges. Just be careful not to push yourself too far. There are risks, even for someone like you.
Dani nodded in understanding.
- I know, Dad. But I always prepare carefully and take every precaution. It’s all about training, preparation, and knowing when to hold back.
Kade, with a mischievous smile, added : And once you’ve done all those extreme jumps, will you be ready for our next challenge ? Because I’m ready to challenge you too !
Dani laughed back, the whole family team sharing a moment of complicity.
- No worries, Kade. We’ll see. But for now, I’m going to rest a little. It’s been a long and thrilling day.
As she spoke, she leaned back on the couch, savoring the feeling of having shared her experience with her loved ones, while already thinking about her next challenges to take on.
After a relaxing afternoon with her family, Dani went back to the platform, the cool wind blowing gently on her brown hair. Her mind was still occupied by the 20,000 foot jump, thinking back to every sensation, every detail of the flight. The experience had been a real success, but what struck her the most was the way Blades had supported her throughout this adventure.
When she arrived on the platform, she saw Blades already waiting for her, in helicopter mode. He seemed to have been watching the sky for a moment before seeing her approach. As soon as he spotted her, he transformed with impressive fluidity, his turbines folding up to make way for his imposing robot body.
- Hi, Dani. Blades said, his deep voice resonating in space. How are you feeling after that big jump ?
Dani approached, a serene smile on her lips, but with a glimmer of gratitude in her eyes.
- I'm fine, Blades. It feels good to be able to breathe a little after all that. She looked at her Autobot friend with a spark of complicity. You know, I couldn't have done this without your support. You really are an excellent teammate.
Blades tilted his head slightly, an almost pensive expression appearing on his metal face. Although he had no human emotions, he understood perfectly what Dani meant. His mission, his priority, was to watch over her, to provide her with the necessary assistance, whether for field operations or for personal challenges like this one.
- You did all the work, Dani. I was only there to accompany you. You always impress me with your determination. Jumping 20,000 feet is huge. But you have always known how to push your limits.
Dani smiled, feeling a little embarrassed by the compliments but appreciating Blades' sincerity.
- It's thanks to you, Blades. You were there to coach me, help me prepare. And without your advice, I wouldn't have gotten this far. She paused, looking at the Autobot thoughtfully. You know, I often feel like we're a bit alike. We both try to be ready for anything, to protect those we love.
Blades nodded, his gaze still fixed on Dani, but a slight hint of kindness shone through his voice.
- That's true, we have the same desire to never fail. But it's not just for personal accomplishment. It's for others too. I see you still determined to progress, to succeed, and that's a quality I respect in you.
Dani was silent for a moment, touched by Blades’ words. They had a special bond, a connection that went beyond mere words. Blades wasn’t just a partner in action, he was also a friend she could always count on. And, even though she was human, she felt that she wasn’t alone in her challenges.
- You know, I think we make a good team. She finally said, moving closer to him. I’m ready for whatever comes next. Whether it’s missions, jumps, or fights. But this really taught me to trust myself. Having someone like you by my side makes all the difference.
Blades straightened slightly, his gaze fixed on her. He didn’t need words to express his understanding.
- You’re never alone, Dani. And as long as you want me by your side, I’ll be there to accompany you. A slight smile crossed his robotic face. So, what do you say we prepare for our next mission ? I'm sure the terrain won't let us rest for long.
Dani burst out laughing, happy to feel this unbreakable bond that existed between them, a bond that allowed them to face all kinds of challenges.
- With you, Blades, nothing is impossible. But first of all, let's enjoy this moment of calm. It is well deserved.
The Autobot nodded, and the two of them remained silent for a few moments on the platform, appreciating the tranquility that reigned after such an intense day. The wind blew gently, carrying with it the last traces of adrenaline and tension. Dani felt ready for anything, with Blades by her side. Their adventures were only just beginning.
To be continued...
