It is a bit spooky ngl! But I've been preparing mentally to have this stent for 7 years because i just *knew* that this is what was wrong with me even though doctors were refusing to test me. I have faith it will go well!

I have a cousin that had the exact same thing, so I know how things are going to be afterwards, and she made a full recovery and lives a perfectly normal life so just keep focusing on that.

That's so wonderful to hear! My cousin has IIH but not VSS and was able to make a full recovery. I have heard many success stories so I have a good feeling about everything and I believe the surgery will improve my quality of life and the medication will also continue the improvement after my surgery.

Oh my gosh I'm sooo sorry to hear you're suffering from basically the same thing. It is HORRIFIC! It ruined my life. I'm SO ready for it to be over, or even just somewhat over! Any relief is desperately needed... It's a horrible debilitating condition. I'm shocked I have been able to function at all for a long time now...

Just gotta make sure they don't give you a surprise lobotomy
