The Morteparlanti siblings Enrico and Mirabella Danpurrlo Galianim:

As with all the races of Onírica, each one has indiviuals born with mutations that make them stand out from the rest, and for the felixin, a race so in tune with the spiritual aspect of reality, those individuals are the Morteparlanti, practically sacred necromancers with the power to deal with spirits from this plane and also with those that lie beyond the veil of mortality, also, as a physical distinction, their tails fork at the tip. I used to call them necromancers and then mediums because I couldn't come up with a cooler idea until recently xD

Unlike most felixin, who have a title and have a daemon servant that grants them elemental magic (fire, earth, wind, etc), the morteparlanti rely on the spirits of the dead, either family, allies, beasts and other entities from the limbo or purgatory, some had even summoned the help of the angels guarding those. And a few more had even delved into Hell, getting unexpected allies and also saving some damned souls.

They usually work for the Church of the Holy Darkness, helping to solve crimes related to dead people, helping to recover lost information, bring back the dead for their families for a final goodbye or even to said what was left unsaid, join with the clerics of the Church of the Ancient God in the Redentor teams to keep those who died recently from passing so they can have an extra time to reflect, change and achieve salvation... usually while also doing some good around, among other things!
