(took these months ago! But I'm always nervous about uploading photos. Since they don't get as much love as illustrations.)
My wolfess, Gravewalker, as a wee little felted figure! She's only about 2 inches tall when standing on her hind legs (like a werewolf! she can be posed like that easily!) fully pose-able. Some of her grey color was from a cat's fur instead of sheep's wool!
Posed her with the Hyena I made for size reference! Gettin' better each time I try. :)

Gasp! You've made some? Ahhh I'm addicted to making them so hard, I love seeing other people's feltys since it's kind of a rare hobby. Poseable is sorta tough, I just use thin wire as a skeleton and roll the felt around it!

They're made by a technique called 'needlefelting'. You use a specially barbed needle, and use it to stab 100% wool roving (raw wool basically) into shapes and forms! It takes on a stiff texture, like a dreadlock or a piece of tough felt!

Its alot of fun but I had to get the supply's shipped to me and stupidly didn't order any reds blues or greens so there is alot I cant do lol. Also didn't know the dif between carded and batted wool so some can be fluffy but alot cant.
