This song is in desperate need of lyrics and a singer. Someone should totally contact me about that. (If they are so inclined)
Anyway, I made this song a while ago and recorded it, but they were so many screw ups in it that I just decided to re record the entire guitar part. The original guitar solo can be found on the other song in my sofurry page. But that solo isn't half as interesting and/or annoying as this one. =3
So, ya, the song started as a general polyrhythm idea with the main guitar chords playing, then it kinda just kept evolving and growing. Even now, I think I may have gone overboard in the composition. Seems almost pretentious. A little childish if I must say so myself. Though, not quite as show offy in guitar skill as I'm Gonna Go Bald was, it's more show offy in the sense of it's composition. It's fun as hell to play, though. Don't get me wrong, I love playing this song. Just something about the composition that's a bit too.... involved.
But, I guess that's to be expected from a progressive song that tries to combine Modern Jazz, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rush together in one piece. Silly me.
Also, feel free to put in some good/bad criticism, I could go for more of that. =3

I liked it alot. In a very strange way i found it relaxing. Guess I'm just weird haha.
2:54 was really cool. That was probably the best part in my oppinion as a bridge to the part after that.
Something about the song sounded like soundtrack music to a car racing/driving game. I agree with Vaile.
4:50 sounded really cool and was the part that had the most energy.
5:20 seemed improv for a very long time and even had a few notes that didnt seem to go well with the chords.
Usually with long songs like this it becomes repetitive and loses interest. But yours did not. It kept the listeners attention through the entire song.
The ending was very nice!!!
There really wasnt much to change with this song in my oppinion!
I hope you found this helpful.
(remember the critique given doesnt necesarilly mean it is right it only expresses the oppinnion of the critiquer.)
Sincerely,
Nathanael Platier
