Original description: This was a little long in the works, but my one of my buddies EcruteakYuya had come up with a new character somewhere around November or earlier and I decided to help design him. Similarly to his original and front-and-centre stage OC Tempo I did this near the end of the year so it's almost poetic in a way. I sure hope this means that Jem becomes a quick favourite of
Yuya's. I also did a quick sektch of Jem earlier in December that I decided to keep to show how he evolved, similar to my OCs.


Ah now we can talk a little about this image. It's actually something I have a bit more to say on because it's another instance of me helping out EcruteakYuya with crafting his wonderful world and cast of characters. The font here was made to give a space feel to enforce Jem's origins as an interplanetary being, also his original prototype design is so goofy. Jem's purple and white and yellow colour scheme and puffy soft body really makes him stand out as a friendly character too. Almost Digimon-like, I'd say.

Which only makes Jem so much cooler!
