Zel Driscoll walked through the park around Science Laboratories on the way to his internship. But as he neared the building, he paused. Dr Science, the head scientist, was sitting outside on a bench.

This drew his eye because the squirrel was wearing a sundress with a low cut bodice and a high skirt hem that really highlighted how pretty she was. She may spend most of her time in the lab but, hot damn, what a body! But it was that bit about spending most of her time in the lab which made it weird that she was just sitting outside.

Zel hadn't been an intern long but the Dr Science he knew wouldn't be outside if she could be inside, working.

"Hey, doc!" the bat said, waving and walking up. "What's up?"

"Just taking a break from an experiment," the squirrel said casually, smiling and looking toward the lab. "Decided it was a good idea to get some fresh air."

Zel followed her gaze to the lab where smoke was billowing out of the windows.

"Yes, I would imagine the air is fresher out here," Zel said.
