I wasn't planning on writing this at all, but it fit this week's weekly prompt so here we are.
This is Atty's side of the first bit of a section of Gabriel's story that I've started but need to finish up to post. It cuts off a bit abruptly because he enters Gabriel's story at that point, so that bit'll come when it gets finished. Just a bit of random musing exposition of Atty realizing where Gabriel went and thinking something's happened to him during some events of that story, I'll save those for when that's up. Rereading it there's some sections that I think I'd like to add more detail to, but if I keep editing it it'll never get posted :p Maybe if I go back for a pass and edit the whole thing together once I've got a good chunk of it written

Okay, let's see what we got this time --
- Haha man I don't write enough characters with back-wings, I imagine they make sitting in ANY kind of high-backed chair annoying, tho (bats actually got it sorta-easy for once, as long as they don't use the arm rests, I guess??)
- Mmm love the description of the sounds his two different feetses make
- I love the lack of dialogue in this one. We have only the one character, so it makes *sense* there's no dialogue, but it's still rare to find a passage like this where the character isn't at least mumbling to themselves or having internal thoughts to make up for the dialogue. Even I'm guilty of that, so it's really refreshing to see someone avoid that
- His frustration is so palpable after he sweeps the desk clear, and I went absolutely :allears: when he went to go fetch a *compass* what kinda neat shit we about to see
- WHOA WE GOTTA MAGIC COMPASS AND MAGIC INK AND MAGIC COIN okay I'm lovin' the description of that map being drawn out, hell yeah
- DOES HE HAVE A MAGICAL TRANSPORTING DOOR, TOO I want one'a those. Nice environmental storytelling for that bit, too
- Haha, hey, I recognize that grey and white lad AND that orca, oh boy. Are they about to be in trouble or what--
WORRYING is a neat prompt, for sure, and I think you captured a facet of it different from the average perspective. Kudos again on the lack of dialogue, that was one of the best features of this whole bit, really sold the mood of the piece :chefkiss:

<3 thanks
We actually had a long discussion in taes discord about the chair lol. Basically decided in a varied furry world the most "universal" chair is just a stool, and even that would suck when you start taking into account *massive* size differences, so most chairs are probably custom made. For the tavern scene I think I even had Nautilus just sitting on the floor because of not wanting to think about the tavern having 30 kinds of chair (worlds magical, though so maybe they have some kind of common chair enchantment that adjusts to the person sitting on it)
