Gifted to me by my brother in 2023, the ready-to-run Arrma Granite 4X4 3S BLX Monster Truck delivers jaw-dropping power and 50+ MPH brushless performance, and includes a Firma™ brushless motor, tougher chassis, stronger steering servo and other upgrades. Prior to my acquiring it, the Granite's electronic speed control (ESC) had been converted by my brother from IC5/EC5 to XT60, which allows me to use the 2S batteries I already have on hand. The Granite ships with a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and SLR300 receiver, which have been replaced by an X6 transmitter (pictured) and an X6FG transmitter, both by Dumbo RC. The X6FG uses a gyroscopic sensor to help maintain steering control while taking very tight curves, which is something I find important for brushless RC cars.
