Fenris is the first son of the owners of the local timber harvesting company. Despite having to Actually PAY the dragons (ACTUAL DRAGONS) to drag the logs into town to the mill district, the Timberfell family is still relatively wealthy. Thus, they can afford to indulge their son's firearms hobby and his eventual enrollment in the Royal Adventuring Academy. The Timberfell Family is willing to indulge their oldest son because of his rather precocious maturity and discipline. He uses an archery range at the base of a steep hill for all his live fire practice. So far, there's been no collateral damage.
