I like the new speech bubbles as well, they look more stylish with that added bit of smooth curvature around the edges, not to mention the little white "tail" that indicates the 'owner(s)' of the speech bubbles, making it easier to tell who's speaking what in the case that there's two or more characters talking to each other, for example. :) Also, did you use a different word font as well for this comic? Probably just me, but it looks slightly different from the fonts you used in a couple of more recent comic items in your shop as well.

Yes, used some different fonts I've had and forgot about. I don't memorize all the best comic fonts - probably should.

I used a standard sans serif font which name escapes me, and laffayette comic sans... for most of the 'OMG' sort of blam text.

Also, I do special effects by hand, which I think adds a little personality to things. =)

Am I imagining that there's liquid inside the the dragon statue? Cause that look a lot like fluid at the center.

Yep, liquid. Gotta be careful with the ooey gooey center hehehe.
