I made the brushes myself. I made three, each one being a random assortment of dots and dashes, then setting opacity to pen pressure and the count to 1%.

IT's hot, but DUDE, CROSSHATCH BRUSH..! Eh, who'm I kiddin, I need to stop using the circular brush.

But if you want some hatching sexiness, or any nifty brushes, look through dA some. You have a dA account, right?

I do, yeah. Honestly I prefer to crosshatch myself. I've been doing it since I was a kid, all over my schoolbooks and such. I like doing it too much. :D

Not to mention that a brush, if used too much and unwisely, would make a sort of pattern that catches the eye too much.

I rarely use Photoshop, these days, so it's like I just collect this shit, just in case somebody's like "ARRGH I CAN'T STIPPLE" I'm like "Here dude, STFU" and the world is right and shiny again.

That fur is awesome Griggle. I love all that hair/fur effect. It's just coming out so good. Deffinetly some of your best stuff!

I'm saving this for reference later. I've tried going into this much detail before but was never able to make it look this good.

Also: Would you mind posting some closeups of the print on the shorts, gloves, and bricks? Seriously, this is some awesome learning material.
