While the beaches of the various ARKs are often much less dangerous than inland, every beach has its own unique sets of danger. From the common Dilophosaur, to the relatively harmless Compies, to the rare Raptor or Raptor packs, anyone first appearing in these strange lands is bound to encounter one to several of these dangers amongst the otherwise peaceful creatures.
A Tsintaosaurus was a common sight to see on the beaches of The Center, but one was special. Upon seeing a somewhat unprepared survivor swimming in the water with some small tamed allies, this female Tsintao, once named Himara by a former tamer, knew there was a Raptor pack that would rip the unprepped survivor apart.
Acting quick, she went to to them at the end of the water and gently swallowed their companions, followed quickly by them. It wasn't the first time she'd done this, but it was the first time a survivor she swallowed had any tamed companions.
Even with her larger-than-normal gut and the occupants squirming, she would wander off and release them in a safer location where they were not at a high risk of dying.
Part 2 of my lil' series is here hehehe. This girl was my first tame on The Center, and boy has she kicked many dino asses in combat XD.
