Without getting into too much, I made an impulsive mistake that very nearly could have killed me.
I've recovered but now the mental healing begins. I admit this, I'm very vulnerable and at times, feel like I'm alone. And in a nutshell (no pun intended), I just snapped.
So, here I am receiving a reassuring hug from one of my favorite comfort characters, Slappy Squirrel. A lady who's not only been through a lot of challenges herself, she always knows how to face them with a well timed gag and a sly smile on her face. She hasn't shown compassion that much, but after what I've been through and what's inevitably coming up, she and everyone else will be there to remind me to enjoy life. I don't show my fursona sad most of the time, but I thought this would be appropriate.

"Like I keep tellin' ya, kid. You're not alone. Life's too short, you're gonna keep going til' you're even older than me. But don't do what you did again, otherwise I'll throw dynamite down your t-shirt. Ehhh, I'm old, I got my own version of love. Seriously though, kid, you are loved."
