I might’ve known a premonition of the Death Star would feature in this nightmare.

I think sometimes Jedi see in a premonition, what they need to see, for to get the story to a good end, even if it means, that they have to venture through terrible hardships to achieve the better ending.

This is actually scary.

Bound and helpless before two dark figures who radiate the dark side whilst a monstrous creation looms behind them. What this “thing” is is unknown, but there’s this sense of doom and death that comes with it.

Ooooh, what a great and creative way to integrate someone else's idea into your story! It does make sense that Voolvif would have dreams like this, what with his connection to The Force and all that.

Plus, it's more bondage, so that's always a plus.

Lol, maybe Voolvif should start sharing his bed with Garwaff so the latter can give him comforting hugs and belly-rubs from all the nightmares. ;D

Fellow Jedi Dead, Framed as a Traitor to the Galaxy, forced to do nothing as bounty is sacrificed as Rancor Fodder, Togorian Slave still enslaved, now suffering nightmares where he's forced to watch the Rise of Darkness as he's bound and unabletolook away ... seems all that's missing is the applause of Galactic Senate, Palpatine's Cackling, and Vader's Breathing. 😔

Hopefully Voolvif has some progression in the future: reuniting with his Master or Yoda, getting to know the younger members of his crew, creating a new persona, a Star Wars Robot Chicken Sketch starring himself (wonder how it would play out ... Pruneface? 🤔🤖🐔), etc.

All came crushing down upon him at once...

Let´s see what the future brings.

Perhaps a potential glimpse of the future that might have been if Voolvif Monn had rushed to Coruscant, if it had amused Palpatine to keep him alive as a prisoner tormented by the weight of trauma and betrayal, the death of everything that he held dear, seeing whether in the end despair would let Voolvif slip into the Dark Side or if he'd cling onto the Light, though in the end given the honour of witnessing a demonstration of the Death Star before finally being permitted his execution at the hands of Darth Vader.

Some glimpse of the future at least will come true with the vision of the Death Star itself, even if this was all the weight of the crushing forces pressing down at once, so little wonder that he found himself for the time cut off from the Force, perhaps a measure of subconscious self-protection.

Again black and white conveys an altogether greater sense of atmosphere and the darkness pressing in all around Voolvif than would ever be possible in colour.

Yes sometimes a premonition could show, what could have been.

That exactly was the idea behind this story element.
