It's been faaaaar too long since I drew my own characters, so Nyx is getting the spotlight for a bit!
Since her magic is tied to the moon, it fluctuates quite a bit over the course of the month. She can hold any of these forms at any time if she chooses to, but that takes some effort. These are roughly the forms she'd take on an average month if she's not intentionally trying to hold a certain look or size.
We've made it to the Waxing Gibbous phase, the step before the full moon. The ambient energy is ramping up, and she can feel it swell within herself. With the extra magic, she's also starting to slip into her panther form. It's only fitting to have a bigger frame for all the excess to fill out, after all.
