Thank you so much! no gel pen, just laying and working of gouache and watercolor over ballpoint, with some pen touchups at the end.

Oh wow! Water color... I never would've guessed that. I've only just been playing around with recycled paper. I'm primarily a marker person... but I'm looking to expand my horizons ;)
