If I could share a tip.. personally I prefer finger prints on my sculpted stuff cause it makes it special.. but if you want to avoid the finger marks, before you bake the clay, take a q-tip with some nail polish on it and rub it over the clay, that will smooth it out to an almost glossy finish.
