"So tell me, my creation… horse, or dragon?" Dr. Flexenstein asked.
The titanic monster stared at his creator, his enormous arms mechanically curling the biggest dumbbells Flexenstein could find. The doctor had been performing experiments, seeing if the monster's reanimated muscles could still grow as a living person's— there had been many, extensive experiments as Flexenstein watched the monster workout and exercise, and Flexenstein had been very thorough.
The monster seemed to have nothing more on his mind than getting bigger, and with how well-proportioned he had made him, Flexenstein was more than happy to accommodate him, switching out arms that were just a couple inches thicker, a chest a little wider— he had a hell of a time finding one right pectoral that was the same size as the left, but anything for his ultimate creation.
"...Dragon." The monster grunted.
"An excellent choice," Flexenstein said, grabbing the lid of one of two coffins he had dug up. "Ah, with the sheen of their scales and the raw, draconic power that you could harness, we could— we could….!" The rat huffed, his hands grasping as tight as he could on the coffin lid, but it wouldn't budge. "Gah! Could you…?"
The monster grunted affirmatively, letting the dumbbells drop from his hands, cratering the castle's crumbling stone floor as he lumbered over to the lid. Flexenstein stepped back, watching the monster move— the re-animated muscles surged to life, his vast landscape of a back rippling, and his thickly roped, bulging arms snapping the lid off as if he were breaking a twig.
"Magnificent…" Flexenstein murmured, a mad glint in his eye as he slipped next to the monster, rubbing his hands in anticipation. "You will be denied nothing— you will be a titan to surpass all others— a Prometheus unbound! Now… let us get to work. We'll need to find another donor for your next leg day."
