Paradise Leech: Small colorful bat-like leeches that feed on blood, they’re completely blind and live in caves in jungles. They carry a virus called Black Blindness that, when transferred to humans or treevqi, causes necrosis(which turns the skin black) and blindness before inducing seizures and, eventually, killing the infected. They live and hunt in colonies of over a hundred individuals and are as long as the hand of an adult man.
Rock-Sucker: Despite their appearance, these chicken-sized creatures have more incommon with paradise leeches than wyverns. Due to their extreme sensitivity to light, they only leave the forest caves they call home at night and even that is rare. They feed entirely on moss, algae, and lichen.
Both of these creatures are hermaphrodites.
