You too? Its going on two months for me to get the ceiling in my bathroom replaced thanks to the upstairs neighbor bathtub leaking. Had I'd known it was going to take this long for my landlord to get somebody to repair it, I'd have hired someone else to do the job, pay for the repairs and deduct it from my owed rent.
I'd move elsewhere, but rent is literally double what I'm paying now, so I put up with the bullcrap. And admittedly, I got decent neighbors (Outside the neighbor across the hall who bitched me feeding the birds and them occasionally pooping on his collector car and complained to the landlord, who, after 9 years, banned me feeding the birds, my poor little conure no longer has outside birds to chat with and watch outside his window.) Plus its quiet where I live, which is a good thing. No stupids to cause trouble like in many low end rent areas. But the mold issue is my main concern and my lungs are getting beaten up over it. The sooner this is all ripped out and replaced, the better.
