I love seeing Sonic characters drawn in non-Sonic styles, so I figure I'd give it a shot using my Backing Out style. Whisper turned out okay, but Tangle... ugh. I really should have used separated eyes instead of my traditional joined eyes. Whatever.
I'm honestly a bit embarrassed to post this, but I redrew Tangle three times and I'm so done with it. Now I need to get some practice with "normal" Sonic style if I want to start my minicomic sometime this century. 8)
I think the sketch turned out pretty nicely all things considered, so unlike with most of my colored art, I posted the sketch, too.
