A reference sheet of my FFXIV character called Karyan Ura. He was imo, in dire need of a redesign for his voidsent looks. Fleshing out the voidsent he merged with and why it looks the way it does.
Karyan has inherited dark magicks from his mother, as she used to be a dark knight before she retired to a more peaceful life in the Steppe. When he was born the magicks fused to him and made him vulnerable in extreme emotional situations.
In his early twenties this started to show, and his tribe threw him out because it was everything his tribe stood against. Shunned from his clan, he travelled to Kugane, where he would learn the arts of combat with daggers.
After the passing of his master Ura, he left to set out to other countries. In particular Ul'dah, which he quickly made as his home. Here he would become a notorious bounty hunter. Who eventually ended up in the wrong hands, meddling with the thirteenth. Because of these events, he would be fused with the voidsent Ah'ne. A being that is known for it's vicious hunger for aether. Despite his hardships he was able to maintain himself. Continuing his life as a bounty hunter. His ego filled with the achievements he has accomplished, he thought nothing was too great for him to kill. Until he ran into a bounty that was by many hunters known for being unachievable. With pride in his being he took up the bounty, not knowing that it would change his life for the worst or perhaps, the better.
