Just out of curiosity, why has it been a sad day for Michael?

I have to agree with Michael. Thanksgiving has become a sort of "Day of Grievance" for me because I worked fifteen years in retail, and watched the holiday become something of a "Speed Bump" into the holidays, and a starting point for end of the year selling sprees.

I’m especially thankful for the fact that you’ve created so many wonderful characters for the lore of your series, including Michael. He’s given me inspiration to try and figure out what I can do to give back to the Native American and indigenous communities, as well as to encourage them to take bold steps towards educating the world about their heritage, culture and history, both good times and bad.

Edit: In fact, I feel a warm hug coming on. Would you like one, Michael?
