2 years on from the events of Winx club season 8, Bloom and her friends Tecna, Stella, Flora, Musa, Layla and Roxy decided to treat themselves to a sunny Christmas holidays on Earth planet Earth in the United Arab Emirates, they wanted to BASE-jump on Dubai's 828m Burj Khalifa skyscraper.
Their previous skydiving experiences in Sicily, France, Taiwan and Russia served them well in preparing for the BASE-jump, but Bloom, being the voice of reason, decided 22 months ago that they could no longer constantly use their fairy powers to confuse people into thinking they had BASE-jump licenses, In the long run, this would become immoral mind control, and so the Winx trained for 8 months with expert BASE-jumpers from the 4 corners of the world, learning everything they needed to know to be well prepared.
On the second day of their arrival in Dubai, the Winx decided to perform a BASE-jump from the Burj Khalifa. But before taking the plunge, Bloom and her friends took time to visit the most beautiful areas of the building, before entering the sector dedicated to the angel jump.
